Peter DeMeo globally leads IBM’s sales initiative for the IBM Hyper Protect Digital Assets platform. This hardware-based, enterprise-grade security technology is built to power institutional digital asset custody, exchange wallets, and tokenization solutions requiring private key management. As a certified design thinking facilitator, Peter helps banks and financial institutions develop strategies to enter into the digital assets market.
Prior to Peter’s deployment to Asia Pacific in IBM Systems in 2013, he was a management consultant in IBM’s Public Sector Global Business Services division in Washington D.C. since 1990. Among his clients included the Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Depository and Trust Corporation, Department of Defense, and Department of Homeland Security. Peter’s responsibilities included the practice leader for U.S. Federal enterprise architecture consulting, leading large scale software development efforts, and IT strategy consulting. He was a contributing author to the enterprise architecture publication “Coherency Management: Architecting the Enterprise for Alignment, Agility and Assurance” (2009).
