Joanna Ossinger is a global markets editor based in Singapore who oversees crypto coverage in Asia for Bloomberg News. She has been at Bloomberg for nearly 10 years, and overseen teams covering stocks, currencies and curation in that time. She has also been a leader in Bloomberg’s Women’s and Working Families communities. She previously worked at The Wall Street Journal, Fox Business and TheStreet.com. Joanna is a past president of the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, the Secretary of Singapore’s Foreign Correspondents Association, a member of the Alfred Friendly Press Partners advisory board, and a Patron of the Asia Society. She has a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a BA cum laude from Cornell University with majors in chemistry and classical civilizations. She is a native of Colorado, USA.
