Jennifer Ilkiw manages the Intercontinental Exchange’s® (NYSE: ICE) Asia Pacific sales operations and co-heads ICE Futures Singapore and ICE Clear Singapore. Intercontinental Exchange operates the leading network of regulated exchanges and clearing houses, and is a provider of global data and listing services.

Over a year ago, Jennifer also took on the responsibility to head business development in Asia for Bakkt. Bakkt is designed to enable consumers and institutions to seamlessly buy, sell, store, and spend digital assets. Formed with the purpose of bringing trust, efficiency and commerce to digital assets, Bakkt seeks to develop open technology to connect existing market and merchant infrastructure to the blockchain.

Jennifer has been in the industry for over 20 years with the last 12 years at ICE and Bakkt. Over the last decade, ICE’s benchmark energy contracts have become the leading risk management tool for energy clients in the Asia region. In early 2014, ICE purchased the Singapore Mercantile Exchange; Jennifer played an instrumental role in the acquisition and subsequent development of ICE’s first exchange and clearing house in the region.

Prior to joining ICE, Jennifer opened and managed the Asia Pacific office of the New York Mercantile Exchange and helped to develop Singapore as a commodity derivatives trading centre in her role with the Monetary Authority of Singapore. 

Jennifer is an active participant in Singapore’s financial community. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Queen’s University in Canada and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Toronto in Canada. Jennifer also contributed to a textbook on international business in the Asia Pacific published in 2004.
