Gary Yu is one of the main contributors of the open source MimbleWimble/Grin project, github.com/mimblewimble/grin/graphs/contributors, which published its mainnet in January 2019, and has a significant improvement on blockchain privacy and scalability, with a completely community-driven development model. Grin has no investment, no ICO, and no premine; grin-tech.org.
In September 2019, Gary founded a new MimbleWimble project, Gotts, which is coming up with an interesting twist of combining MimbleWimble with public values, address and transaction proof, extending MimbleWimble to the broader use cases. Moreover, Gotts is positioning itself as a blockchain for a purely p2p electronic stable cash by providing a series of decentralized non-collateralized stable-coins assets. Currently, Gotts is still under development.
