Brett Gibson is a partner at Initialized Capital.
Previously, he co-founded the blog platforms, Posthaven and Posterous (acquired by Twitter), and later wrote software for YCombinator, building their essential internal software systems. He was also a founder of the social news platform Slinkset, which was funded by YC in the summer of 2008, and DrawHere, a browser drawing startup acquired by DeviantArt in 2006.
Brett graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
